Official Ghoster Coaster Topic
I was perusing the forums and noticed the Scooby-Doo roller coaster (I'll always call it that despite the name changes) does not have an official topic page. This ride was my 1st coaster and has given me many great memories. I was wondering if anyone knew what changes were made to it to cause ACE to retract its Coaster Classics designation?

Wasn't it the addition of seat belts?

Those seatbelts are pretty worthless. They are always so twisted that they don't retract like they should to actually hold someone in. What's the point of wearing a seatbelt if it doesn't even tighten around you?

Ok...thanks for the answer. I couldn't figure it out. I didn't recall any seat belts last time I rode it (but it's been a while). I feel like it would take away from the airtime you get on the hills, but I guess it's a safety thing for kids. When I was little and rode it I survived without the seat belts Smile If anything needed special safety precautions for kids it was Diamond Falls. I can't even count how many times I rode on the end next to my dad (a big man) and almost slipped out of the slick seat...yet I still sat there anytime I could 8)
