A look at KD in the off season and Timmy update
Hey Guys,

I am currently working on a video for KD that will go up on the youtube.com/kingsdominiontv page in the next day or so, but thought you guys would like a look at Kings Dominion via some pictures we took.

Off Season Gallery

Snoopy Starlight

Intimidator 305 Re-Profile

All the pictures can be found at the links above, but I thought I would show some highlights

I think there used to be a ride here?

Snoopy Starlight is in the planing stages still but you can see in this picture they have trees marks all the away around the tower and down the Central Walk Way. That could be really cool!

A really bad RCT ride!

Re: A look at KD in the off season and Timmy update
Hey great pics!! I was wondering since I've veiwed the the I305 trains, since the retracking is in process, is the trains will still using the soft straps harnesses for cleaning and repairing or they're planning to go back to the hard restraints? Or I would say no OTSR since I didn't see them?

Also, since I havn't had the chance to listened to the live broadcast of ITL Monday, I was wondering about replacing the suvenier camera to another location since the current location is not a good spot IMO. I would perfer placing after the second hill towards the left banking turn where the track is flat?

It will most likly open with the straps. The hard harnesses went to Great Adventure's Kingda Ka.

For the swings photo, Since they took down the ride ( probably storing it some where for the off-season) They should add ''Windseeker. They are adding it at King Island and i think also other places to, but for more information here is the website Big Grin

Yeah, they are adding Windseekers at Kings Island, Cedar Point, Canada's Wonderland and Knott's Berry Farm.

If KD were too keep the generic Windseeker theme I would say to put it in the Grove, maybe where El Dorado is, just far enough out of the way from the SkyFlyer "flying zone." If they would actually theme it I think it would be great in Old Virginia so travelers on I-95 could see it! Plus, besides Flying Eagles, there isn't really a "flat" ride in Old Virginia.

Re: A look at KD in the off season and Timmy update
That's a great idea for the place the ride could be! Only now if Kings Dominion could build it, I mean it's 30 stories tall (301 feet tall from Kings Island website). Now if Kings Dominion can build it taller and it would attract many guests if they can't build it taller it still would bring lots of people.
