Official Thunder Raceway Topic
Thought we might need a Thunder Raceway topic. Thunder Raceway is a pay-per-experience go-kart ride.

I've never ridden the thing. It ruins the atmosphere of Grizzly's queue.

Re: Official Thunder Raceway Topic
I do love go-karts, but at that price with lots of other good things to do?

Re: Official Thunder Raceway Topic
I saw them and then looked about 90 degrees to the left in the distance about 305 feet up into the sky and decided they were not worth spending money to do.

Re: Official Thunder Raceway Topic
Well has anyone ridden them? Any good compared to other karts? Kind of on a hill.

I don't know if they have them but the best (pay to ride) were in Ocean City MD, 2 motor karts, you could almost certainly get hurt real bad if you mess up.

I have no interest in pay per attractions at amusement parks. Have never used one and don't plan to.

Does anyone know how much this cost? It's not on the website... well, the website doesn't even have this on it.

Re: Official Thunder Raceway Topic
I had the chance to do it for free (don't ask cuz I am not saying) and it wasn't that much fun it was like at least $7 probly was more. They weren't that great. I'm never going to pay to do it though its not worth it at all.

One of the biggest eyesores in the park next to the Sky Coaster. Does NOT belong in Old Va in any way shape or form. Its a shame they destroyed even more trees around Grizzle to build something that could have been built in the parking lot!

I also have ridden them probably several times. I think it'a a waste of money and of course the layout is not that exciting nor not even long enough to make any moves like real racing.

I would rather do the carts here for amusement.

Now for some real excitement with some mean carts, check this out and it's near where I live.

Caution! Venetians may strike at any time.
