Wikipedia Wrote:Skycoaster, most commonly also named Ripcord (in some Cedar Fair, L.P.-owned theme parks) or Xtreme SkyFlyer (in other Cedar Fair, L.P.-owned theme parks), is an amusement park ride, produced and managed by Skycoaster, Inc.. On the ride, riders in groups of 1 to 3 are winched to the top of a launch tower and then dropped towards the ground, swinging from a cable tether back and forth until brought to a rest. Sky Coasters can range from 100–300 feet (30.5–91.4 m) in height

Are you sure? I could have sworn I've seen kids/teens ride these before, but then again I hardly go in Old Virginia...

Re: Official Thunder Raceway Topic
Yeah that doesn't sound right. If that were the case, KD would be losing a lot of money, because usually, the ones who want to ride Go Carts are teenagers.

That's the rules. I tried to ride it in July and they said 18 and above.

Are you sure, I know for a FACT that at Hurlfest, people under the age of 18 drove the go-karts.

The employees would not let me, and I think the sign said the same.

Re: Official Thunder Raceway Topic
It is definitely not 18. I think you have to be a certain height to drive, and you have to be 18 and have a licens to drive with a passenger.

Oh, I was trying to ride with someone else so that was probably the problem.

Re: Official Thunder Raceway Topic
New Grizzly entrance?! YAY, it is so hidden now! I figured the go-karts might get the boot so the dinosaurs aren't tucked behind there... because of the free advertisement they could get.

What I'm suprised about is the rumor of the Grizzly Arcade being torn down. I can't believe that considering it would be much easier and cheaper to keep it and remodel it and that could be the ticket booth and gift shop.
