Official Apocalypse Topic

Re: Official Apocalypse Topic
Obviously we couldn't expect SFA to get a big incredible coaster after 10 years of nothing. I think this will mean more new stuff is to come. Zac Spins and Euro Fighters are farely cheap and I could see them getting one of them in another 3ish years.

I enjoyed Green Lantern but only in the front row.. I will assume that will be the this one also....

Greed caused the Demise of Geauga Lake....
Wanted: 1991 Cadillac El Dorado must be in good shape, prefer the color blue, and seat 32 people.

Re: Official Apocalypse Topic
Green Lantern is a great ride in the front row, one of my favorites, but in any row other than the front, it is painful.

Re: Official Apocalypse Topic
I was in the 2nd or 3rd row on Green Lantern and really liked it. It's the best stand-up coaster I have ridden. I've also ridden Mantis and Shockwave.

I'm redesigning all of the Coaster Crew Network sites throughout the spring. Please help me out by answering surveys and polls on our Coaster Crew Network News board!

My top steel coasters: 1. Top Thrill Dragster | 2. Manta (SWO) | 3. Montu | 4. SheiKra | 5. Volcano ... My top wooden coaster: El Toro (SFGAdv).

Re: Official Apocalypse Topic
Funny how SFNE is almost done with goliath's construction & is posting updates regularly on facebook while SFA hasn't posted anything new on their facebook in ages concerning construction....of course I'm blocked from posting on their facebook so I can't get any info on what the delays are but I can still post on the main SF page to see what's up.

Re: Official Apocalypse Topic
I don't think there are any delays... Much probably is not happening. Most likely footers are just needing to sit. They have until the middle of May to get this thing up and running, so I am sure track will start flying up soon. Also, the reason they aren't posting anything is probably because of the fact that nothing interesting has happened.... They have been doing a great job at posting updates, and had one of the best build ups out of any of the Six Flags parks, they aren't just going to stop posting.

Orange rails, maroon supports? HOKIE COLORS? My new favorite color scheme for a ride... I like the gray track too!

For me, Green Lantern was smooth wherever you went, but it really got your your legs by the end of the ride. I think the ride is too long or fast, I dont know. I like long and fast roller coasters, but not when it is a stand up.

Re: Official Apocalypse Topic
Something must have delayed the opening of Apocalypse, because it is now opening early summer, not late spring.
