Thanks for sharing. I hope we see LOTS of trees planted around the course of the ride before May 18th.

In case you haven't heard... Verbolten has "soft opened".

Re: Official Verbolten Topic
Rode Verbolten today.

It was interesting, but in the end it fell short for me...I just can't get the amount of money they spent out of my head.

Families will love it though.

Re: Official Verbolten Topic
I've read/heard okay - good reviews and of course the few "AMAZING BEST RIDE EVER!" ones that come out with every new coaster. I'm anxious to hear more reviews.

I look forward to riding this during the summer. It should be fun... but I don't have my hopes up high.

Looks like a great ride, but i'm dissapointed. I go to hersheypark instead of here next saturday... I was looking forward to riding it. On the topic of soft openings, will SkyRush have one?

Re: Official Verbolten Topic
^ I believe the number thrown out there was just under 50 million although it hasn't been confirmed by the park.

Re: Official Verbolten Topic
50 million is the number I have heard...which is just astonishing.

Don't get me wrong, it is a unique ride and I think families will love it.

However, I am a huge coaster enthusiast. I like big thrills!

1.) The launches...they are barely launches...certainly nothing like FoF or Volcano.
2.) The building...there is a lot going on, and it is very "pretty"...but it just didn't do it for me. I liked the inside aspects of Mummy better.
3.) The drop track...it was something different...but again...its barely "thrilling".
4.) The drop...well lets just say I put my arms up and felt stupid...it is hardly steep and very short.

I know I sound like a hater...but just saying how I see/feel it. It seemed like 95% of the people really liked it...but for the cost I will take i305, Bizarro, or a B&M X-Flight or Wild Eagle anyday.

Also, I only rode once. So, I only got to see one show...and I sat in the front row. I will be going back Friday and hope to ride in the back a few times and see each show.

Sorry, Hershey never has soft openings for their rides. When they say it is going to open is when it will open. I am going next Sunday and was hoping to ride it, but I guess I will have to wait until later
