Big Grin
Hello to all,
This is really a nice idea to have a quality KD fan site.
My son and I have become rabid coaster freaks in the last two summers, and KD is our beloved home park, as we live about 5 minutes from the park.
Josh and I are literally there almost every day it's open!
We were thrilled to get Dominator this year, but sad to see the Hypersonic and the backwards side of Rebel Yell go.
It's nice to hear from others who love coasters, and Kings Dominion!
We have had an awesome summer, having gotten to Cedar Point, Kings Island, Holiday World, KennyWood, Dorney, Six Flags Great Adv, Six Flags America, and of course many trips to Busch Gardens Europe!
But we always love to come home and hit KD. It's kind of our home away from home!
Peace to all, and Ride On! Big Grin

Joe and Josh

Thanks and hello to you too!
Josh and I enjoyed the beautiful weather yesterday for the last day at WaterWorks!
It's always tough, though, to see summer go, and not have our park open daily.
But I'm sure the "haunt" will be fun this year!
Hope to see you there! Big Grin

We will definitely be there for the haunt. Our Halloween schedule is pretty packed but we will make it out there once maybe twice.

I'm Reece, and I live in Chesterfeild, VA. I'm 49 minutes away from Kings Dominion. My favorite Kings Dominion Coaster would have to be The Backlot Stunt Coaster because it's fast, fun, and is the coaster with the most scenery in the park. My favorite coaster of all time is a tie of The Backlot Stunt Coaster and The Big Bad Wolf. My favorite Parks are

1.Kings Dominion
2. Universal Studios Florida
3. Busch Gardens Europe

My AIM is Hi its Reece and I get sad when the off season comes Sad
Anyways hope we can be friends and look out for my posts!

Yeah, have to agree with everyone about the site. Really is one of the best out there!
I posted my introduction in another thread, I don't remember where it was though. Duplicate?

This is a great site. It is easy to post on. Clint had pointed me in this direction, when I first met him at the ERT on May 1. I stop by KD and BGE almost every two weeks.

I was former Six Flags America full-time maintenance electrician that worked for that park in 98. I started there when the park was Adventure World. Has, I always said when I working at the park "It's always Adventure at Adventure World".

This is my first post and will not be the last. Clint and the staff keep the great work and I will be to see you guys at the park and future events.
