No love for Transformers, huh?

I still think Verbolten is severely over-rated.

Re: Top 5 Favorite New Attractions That Opened In 2012
I haven't ridden any of these yet except WindSeeker at KD since I haven't been to the other parks this year, but:

1. Wild Eagle
2. X-Flight
3. WindSeeker(s)
4. Leviathan
5. SkyRush

... in other words, +1 for new kinds of thrills: wing coasters, WindSeekers, and finally the first B&M giga.

I'm redesigning all of the Coaster Crew Network sites throughout the spring. Please help me out by answering surveys and polls on our Coaster Crew Network News board!

My top steel coasters: 1. Top Thrill Dragster | 2. Manta (SWO) | 3. Montu | 4. SheiKra | 5. Volcano ... My top wooden coaster: El Toro (SFGAdv).

Re: Top 5 Favorite New Attractions That Opened In 2012
I think Verbolten does qualify as relatively new. Probably not the most fun thing from the last year, but unique. It is also better for the park than a repeat version of another ride they have. In full consideration, I'd rate it the same number as BBW was, which in their line-up there is no shame in being near the bottom.

Skyrush is the most interesting of the new rides, but I haven't ridden it, and being near I305 I have no hurry. Apocalypse, now, is mainly interesting just because of location, location and looks to be far better than Carowinds' Vortex.

I will agree that Verbolten is new/unique. But in my opinion that is literally all it has going for it. I guess I am just a fan of bigger, more intense roller coasters. Plus, I just can't seem to over-look that price tag!!

Skyrush...well that one is simply amazing. El Toro airtime, enough said.
