The Pointless Thread

The Pointless Thread
Since this site lacks one, and all other sites have one, I've decided to create one here.
It's just a place to mention stuff not relevant to anything, and just talk.
Same site rules apply (duh), the only one omitted is staying on topic, if it were about staying on topic this wouldn't be the Pointless Thread, now would it? Wink

To start off, I have a Chorus Festival tomorrow at 12:40.
We're singing a gospel arrangement of My Lord What a Mornin' and then a reaaaally serious arrangement of The Tide Rises, The Tide Falls.

The Tide Rises, The Tide Falls was originally written as a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, but we're singing the song version of it.

I'm going bowling tomorrow with some kids. I haven't been bowling in like a year, but usually I do pretty good.

I bowl on a league on Saturday nights. I love it, my team is simply awesome. They're all insane, so we get along well. It's so much fun, I look forward to it each week.

I took the kids I babysit for to Chuck - E - Cheese today. Mistakenly thought a girl was a boy which was kind of embarrassing (had a very clean cut boy haircut....didn't think twice about it) and then I went to the house of the kids' I babysit for and ate some octopus for the first time. It's the 6 year old's favorite food. It was okay but not great. It weirded me out a little because it still had the suction cup things on it....eww.
Love the useless thread idea!

good thread to talk stuff. Well I am currently at work right now at the hotel. After I leave work I am running some errands, and catching up on some sleep since I haven't slept much in the last few days due to NCAA tourney games I wanted to watch. Other than that I'm looking forward to Busch Gardens Passholder Day on Sunday and catching up with Clint & Rose for the day. I haven't seen them since the Kalahari Trip back in January.

I am happy with life

I like pie too!

Today we had a Chorus Concert called "Festival". It's when all the choruses get together (but sing separately) and judges rank our singing.

I also just got back from a awesome lunch at Mcdonalds!!!
