I rode this maybe 10 times in the past 2 days and wow... The park really spiced it up with retracking. The ride is running better and faster than ever.

I received my BEST Grizzly ride yesterday. When at the park, if yellow train is on, it is safe to ride. If orange train is on, do skip.

The need for speed is NOT a habit nor occupation, It's an Addiction!

Tell me about it,I was riding in the back seat of the car on orange train & whacked my hand pretty hard against the headrest in front of me going down the first drop on saturday.

For some odd reason I'm finding it much more difficult to fit in the front seat on the woodies now...I have to cross my legs just to get the lap bar down to a comfortable level but find it much easier to fit in comfortably in the back row(middle row on rebel yell) since I can slide my feet under the seat in front of me.

Even backlot, ricochet & FOF seem to h ave more leg room to me now.

Aw...that's sad. I was looking forward to giving it another chance, too...oh well.

By any chance do you know which parts they are retracking?

I don't think it is sad, it is a good thing! I am glad they are spending a little money on this classic roller coaster, hopefully it means they are committed to keeping it around long term.

Re: Official Grizzly Topic
Coming up after the first drop, there's a real nasty bump that tends to throw you into the bar. I can't think of any other specific point, though; they got most of the worst spots out in the '09 retracking. Also the tunnel may need work. They better not add trims!

cedar fair does not exactly have a sparkling record with woodies.

Re: Official Grizzly Topic
I had no idea Grizzly was just retracked in 09. Does anyone know how often woodies typically need retracking?
