Re: Hershey Park!
I finally got to go Saturday for the first time in 15 years! :o I absolutely LOVED Storm Runner! Lightning Racer was an awesome woodie as well as the classic Comet. Great Bear wasn't too bad, but I will have to say Wildcat was my least favorite. Next time I make way up to HersheyPark again, I'll make sure I'm a bit more prepared for it. Farenheit was a pretty good ride...kinda like a I305/Dominator mix. Final Score for HersheyPark:
Storm Runner-2
Lightning Racer-2
Farenheit-1
Great Bear-1
Comet-1
SuperDooperLooper-1
Trailblazer-1
Wildcat-1

Re: Hershey Park!
SkyRush looks like like a great new coaster, unique "next generation" from Intamin.

Yes it is. Intamin is going to give B&M a run for there money.

The cool thing that I like, is the station will be right next to the Comet. That means, you have a choice to ride the old first or the new last, if you know what I mean Big Grin .
Comet is the first coaster that Hershey built and Skyrush is last as of now. Until they build the 13th coaster.

My shrink did some reverse psychology on me, so I charged him $50 an hour.

Re: Hershey Park!
This doesn't surprise me all, that the Comet Hollow section of the park was flooded like that and I don't think its the first time. Thanks for posting the picture Mr. Me

Re: Hershey Park!
SkyRush looks awesome, along with Storm Runner and Fahrenheit. The winged seats on SkyRush will probably take it to a new level. Can't wait to go. I love going on coasters in their opening season.

Re: Hershey Park!
WAIT READ THIS! Hersheypark is attempting a little PR Spin Control this week the park’s PR team told the local news that the Roller Soaker is NOT for sale, despite the online listing showing that it is. Of course this wouldn’t be the first time a ride has been listed as being for sale and denied as such by the park, only to see it removed a few weeks later anyway. It also wouldn’t be the first time that a ride was listed for sale... only to see it sitting pretty at the park for years to come, if no one was interested in buying it.
Of course the park only really said that the ride was not for sale... and not for $799,000. They did not say that it was staying in the park. Backing up the ride’s possible pending removal comes a story from a park guest who while standing in line for Roller Soaker this week, saw a worker from the local “PA 1 CALL” group on site. This is who you call to mark off all your underground utilities before you begin digging and construction work, and they were seen marking off the utilities between the Roller Soaker and Lazy River. -http://screamscape.com/html/hersheypark.htm
