Cedar Fair to be Sold to Apollo ~Not anymore pg.3 for update
Cedar Fair LP surged 30 percent in trading after the close of U.S. markets after the Wall Street Journal reported Apollo Management LP may buy the theme-park company operator for about $700 million.

The shares climbed $2.72 to $11.80 as of 5:11 p.m. New York time. Earlier Cedar Fair rose 7 cents to $9.08 today in New York Stock Exchange composite trading.

Sorry guys. There were three topics going so I closed two and moved this one too news.

I would not expect much to change. I dont think they are buying the parks to liquifi (sell) there assits. Apollo owns a lot of Entretainment biz so I would see Cedar Fair as another nitch in there hat. I would not expect any of the parks to close any time soon due to this sale.
